If your soul has been crying out for a CHANCE to write, than your brain and hands need to inform your soul that you are already a writer. You have been a writer since you were a little girl and wrote ghost stories (again, a recurring theme) that scared us so bad we couldn’t sleep at night. Now it is you who are scared. Please stop and take the leap of faith. Having quit my job for 10 years to go back to school, I am convinced that we each have a moral obligation to pursue happiness. That does not mean an easier road, just a mental and spiritual allignment with what we are supposed to do and to become who we are suppsed to be. I think of what our ancestors did to pursue happiness; they left their home and family for something bigger. Please don’t let their efforts be in vain. It will all work out. Let’s go to lunch next week.

Writing is your gift…..Regarding “Motherguilt,” all I have to say is “thanks” and “finally”!! I have so often spoken of “my friend who could spit out a story” on a whim (and often did so at our sleepovers)…and now the world can see what I have always known …what a talented writer you are!!! I, among others, truly enjoy reading the words which seem to flow effortlessly from your fingers to the screen (used to be pen to paper, but we won’t go there) …thanks for listening to your soul…for sharing your creative thoughts with fun, emotion, wit, and wisdom…keep letting it flow, baby…
